Today, million girls are killed for extravagant jewelry,which makes them more special with thousands of designs and qualities. Why so many people are so fervent towards jewelry? What does jewelry mean to them? Chairman and CEO of Tiffany&Co,Michael J. Kowalski, said that "jewelry fulfills a need for human adornment." I strongly agree with his quote. It completes personality or characteristics, espouses to present emotions, and evokes sentiments of human. Also, jewelry is not a way to show off your wealth or lavish living but a way to have vicarious satisfaction of one. Furthermore, it became a symbol of special relationship among people. That is why people share engagement rings or friendship rings together. In April, when the royal wedding was celebrated, Prince William's proposal to Kate Middleton was a big issue. He proposed to her with 3 carat blue sapphire ring and the ring attracted million girls' eyes. Quality, color, size, cutting, and price of jewelry are always the issue. With this in mind, I would like to share about an article called, "Jewelry Fashion Trends & Styles."
It is difficult for jewelry industry to satisfy all people because there are so many people with all different style and want. Problem of a jewelry company is that they have to adjust the price and style that can fit majority of people's preference as the trend changes. Value or price of jewelry is arguable among people because the price range from $10 to million dollars. But for people who have value jewelry as a vital tool of life might accept this price. Obviously, high-end quality jewelry with expensive price has been being loved by people perpetually for special occasions. However the article is saying that the current trend in the industry is nature inspired jewelry, which represents Mother Nature through color, materials, and message. Also it is saying that "the equation for success involves a wide selection of merchandise, quality customer service, and the ability to keep up with and supply today's hottest trends at the best price possible, as exemplified by the above wholesalers." This statement is very applicable to me for my future I am a person who acclaims the value of jewelry and think it is impeccable and mutable source of happiness in life. I rejoice from it and it is also a great consolation.

I agree with you that jewelry, especially to women, is valuable, and there's much more meaning to it than just winsomeness or beauty. I think that jewelry can define one's characteristics and values; one who puts on fine jewelries may be characterized as elegant and sophisticated. I also agree with you that it is difficult to come up with variety of new styles and designs to meet all the customers' needs.
